Youth and Community Team Leader Post

Salary: £26,878
Position: Permanent
Based: The Foxton Centre

The Foxton centre is a very active and forward-thinking charity who aim to support those within the Avenham and Frenchwood community and those who are most in need.
We are redeveloping our Youth and Community services to best support the whole community to build on their strengths and provide much needed support, especially in the wake of the COVID pandemic.
We hope to offer opportunities and support to the residents in Avenham as well and work in partnership with some of the local community groups and statutory services who are committed to the area.
This is an exciting new role which has evolved from our 50 years’ experience in delivering this work and our ambitions for the future. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and hardworking individual who is keen to undertake the role of Youth and Community Team Leader. This is an exciting time to come on board with The Foxton Centre and we focus on a wider offer for young and old from a diverse range of backgrounds.
This role will be to develop and understanding of the needs of our community and be creative and imaginative in leading and developing programmes of activities, interventions, partnership, and relationships.
We are looking for someone who knows how to support and develop people to lead with confidence and can build on a shared understanding of what really matters in the community. We hope to recruit someone who has skills, knowledge, and experience in delivering real change with communities.
