We are thrilled to invite you exclusively to the Grand Opening of the Foxton Youth and Community Centre on Friday, June 20th for our Young Peoples and Community Event 3-6pm, 2025.
This special event marks a proud return to our original site, where Foxtons began its youth work journey over 57 years ago. The new centre stands as a symbol of our community’s strength, creativity, and commitment—brought to life by the very young people it was built to serve.
Event Highlights:
- Hosted by the Foxton team and Young People, with support from the Lancashire Chamber of Commerce
- An inspiring opening ceremony led by young people who played a central role in securing funding, shaping the building’s design, and bringing their vision to life through the interior design and made possible by the Department for Culture, Media and Sports, Youth Investment Fund.
- Opportunities to explore the new space, connect with professionals, community members, and celebrate the future of youth and community work in our area.

How we’ve helped.
As a volunteer at the Foxton day centre, it opened my eyes to a lot of different aspects of the day to day running of the day centre and the help that was available.
I feel that the Foxton has a massive impact on people’s lives from what I have experienced over the last year and a half since we started delivering the art project in partnership with the Foxton.
The Foxton have been a life saver for me and my partner. They have helped us get back on our feet.
